The mission of the Indus School is to prepare communities of tomorrow by promoting life long learning, positive values, school pride, mutual respect, and individuality.
Indus is the Small School Making a Big Difference. Our small class sizes give your student big opportunities. Indus understands that early childhood education is key to a student's success throughout their K-12 career. Indus offers Pre-school for three and four year olds as well as full-day, every day Kindergarten to ensure success in grades 1 through 6. In addition to a solid foundation in the core academic areas, Indus offers your high school student choices with robust offerings in the areas of Family and Consumer Sciences, Art, Music, and Industrial Technology. Indus School is implementing an Active Schools Grant which is an initiative of the Minnesota Department of Education and Minnesota Department of Health to promote physical activity and fitness in our students. Through physical education and health classes, students are encouraged to develop healthy lifestyles.The availability of a fully equipped computer lab, SmartBoards in each classroom, and wireless/mobile technologies including iPads and Chromebooks, allow for students with varied learning styles to get what they need to succeed in an ever changing world.
