Midwest Garden Company is a family-owned business run by Mark and Sue Hammar. Our interest in growing plants began early on with an education in horticulture and agricultural business from the University of Minnesota. In 1991, we started a garden design and maintenance business, which is still a significant part of what we do today. Wanting to expand into a retail setting, we decided to open a garden center. In 2006, Midwest Garden Company opened its doors.
