THE THRIFT SHOP OF COMMON CUP MINISTRY GLENCOE, MN Wishes to thank all the individuals who have volunteered countless hours over these past two years!!! These volunteers have provided a means of support to the Common Cup Ministry programs throughout the year. We'd like to thank everyone that has given of their time, provided donations or made purchases through our Thrift Shop. We have received and continue to receive wonderful high quality donations from throughout the surrounding communities as well as generous shoppers! The funds received from the Thrift Shop support the various programs of Common Cup Ministry. Common Cup works with individuals and families in need throughout McLeod County in a discreet and respectful manner. We assist in areas of crisis such as utility assistance/rental help/auto fuel and provide resource information for the clients to consult. The funds also support our community programs such as: School Supply Distribution: Serving about 525 students in the Mcleod Co Districts each year Monthly Diaper Distribution: Serving an average 85-90 children each month in the county Warm Coat Distribution: Provides warm winter coats/snowpants/mittens/boots for all ages Weekend Backpack Feeding Program: Serving about 250 students K-4 th grade that are in need of food over the weekend and long school breaks (meet guidelines for Free School Lunch) ALL FUNDS REMAIN IN MCLEOD COUNTY There are many volunteer opportunities at the Thrift Shop.
