Residents are encouraged to surveytheir properties inside and out and recognize their individual needs to recycle. Recycling loads can lineup on North Armstrong Avenue facing 10th street and on 10th street facing east from Highway 12 up toArmstrong Avenue Saturday May 19, 2018. Litchfield City Council members will be at the intersection ofNorth Armstrong and 10th street to assess loads and collect fees. A fee of $10.00 will be charged for all loadsIf you are recycling two or more electronic devices such as (TV's, Computer Monitors, Printers, DVD Plaetc.) you will be charged a maximum load charge of $20.00. A valid driver's license or a recent LitchfieldUtility Bill will be needed to prove Litchfield residency. After loads have been assessed and fees paid, youwill proceed to the Civic Arena Parking Lot where Warehouse Surplus and Waste Management will collectthe loads. We ask that you help with unloading at the sites1. Paint, batteries, tires, glass and hazardous waste will not be permitted at the Civic Arena2. No materials can be brought to the Civic Arena prior to the eventR& RMetal and Auto Recycling on Hwy 12 and Litchfield Recycling and Auto Salvage on Hwy 24 will be opeon Saturday May 19 to take recyclable materials. They will pay market rates for batteries, aluminum cans,large metal objects metal boats, and vehicles. Tires will be accepted for a fee, but Litchfield Recycling andAuto Salvage wil accept tires with rim free excluding tractor tires. Absolutely no glass will be taken. You are responsible to get materials to the end of driveway by curbMaterials will not be picked up in your house or garage.
