In taking these measures, Meeker County remains in line with guidance for social distancing strategies recommended by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH www.health.state.mn.us), and by the Center for Disease Control (CDC www.cdc.gov), as well as the Governor and Commissioner of Health in the State of Minnesota. Effective March 24, 2020, and until further notice, all Meeker County facilities will limit access to the public. All doors to the Courthouse, Family Services Center, Law Enforcement Center and Transportation Facility will be locked. The public is encouraged to access services through our web page (www.co.meeker.mn.us), via telephone or email. There are also drop boxes outside the Law Enforcement Center, in the Courthouse parking lot, and by the main entrance to the Family Services Center that can be used to deliver documents to any department (please label clearly who the documents are for). If there is a vital need for a face-to-face visit, please call the appropriate number to make an appointment. County services and operations will continue to be provided to the community during our normal business hours, just delivered in different ways than previously provided. This action will help protect the public and staff from being exposed to potentially sick individuals and from spreading the virus to our citizens, friends, and family.
