TAX NOTICE Meeker County Treasurer Sharon Euerle would like to remind taxpayers that the first half of their 2020 Real Estate tax is due on or before May 15, 2020. Postmarks are due on or before that date, a penalty will be assessed after that date. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Treasurer's Office is conducting business but the Courthouse is CLOSED to face-to-face transactions until further notice. Meeker County Commissioners have approved of reducing the penalty for late payment to 1% from May 16 to June 30, and 2% for the month of July, returning to the original penalty schedule starting August 1st. The Treasurer does accept partial payments and payment of property taxes can be made by one of the following: By mail 2 Drop boxes; drive-up drop box in parking lot or walk-up drop box by southwest entrance of Courthouse County website www.co.meeker.mn.us; accepting by e-check or credit card.
