Litchfield Annual City-Wide Clean-up Day Saturday May 18th, 2019 8:00 am to 10:30am Litchfield Civic Arena Parking Lot Dear Litchfield Residents; The Litchfield City Wide Clean-up Day is for Litchfield Residents only. Residents are encouraged to survey their properties inside and out and recognize their individual needs to recycle. Recycling loads can line up on North Armstrong Avenue facing 10th street and on 10th street facing east from Highway 12 up to Armstrong Avenue Saturday May 18th, 2019. Litchfield City Council members will be at the intersection of North Armstrong and 10th street to assess loads and collect fees. A fee of $20.00 will be charged for all loads A valid driver's license or a recent Litchfield Utility Bill will be needed to prove Litchfield residency. After loads have been assessed and fees paid, you will proceed to the Civic Arena Parking Lot where Warehouse Surplus and Waste Management will collect the loads. We ask that you help with unloading at the sites 1. Paint, batteries, tires, glass, shingles and hazardous waste will not be permitted at the Civic Arena 2. No materials can be brought to the Civic Arena prior to the event The Litchfield Methodist Church will again be serving coffee, sodas, and water to those who are waiting in line If you are disabled or over 70 (must show proof of age), you will need to go to Litchfield City Hall and fill out a Recycling Materials Pick-up Form and pay the fees if you are unable to bring recyclable materials to the Civic Arena on Saturday May 18th, 2019. The deadline to fill out the Recycling Materials Pick-up Form at city hall will be Monday May 13th, 2019. When you have filled out the form and paid your fees, recycle materials should be placed in driveway by curb at your address and will be picked up by Waste Management and Warehouse Surplus around 7:00am to 10:00am Saturday morning May 18th, 2019. You are responsible to get materials to the end of driveway by curb. Materials will not be picked up in your house or garage. Materials placed on curb without form filled out and fees paid, will not be picked up.
